Where to Mount Lightning Detector

The lightning detector detects low-level signals from lightning and must be mounted a minimum of 3 feet away from cell phones, wearables, or any other devices emitting electrical noise. If the detector goes through a sequence of all colors, this indicates that it is detecting electrical noise.

struck by lightning

Our house was struck by lightning at 2 am in the morning, and burn to the ground. The emotional trauma still has us watching the Doppler and not sleeping till the threat has past, this has been every storm for the last 11 years. I would love to own one that could keep me from counting the seconds between thunder and strike trying to figure out how far away it may be. On the boat would be a bonus having a limited space for safety.
